Daily Quiz

According to "science" which side of your face is your best side for portraits?
>> The left side. Studies suggest that the left side of the face is more intense and active during emotional expression. It is more aesthetically pleasing."...the notions of lateralized emotion and right hemispheric (right half of brain) dominance with the right side of the brain controlling the left side of the face during emotional expression" -Black burn and Schirillo

Photo Critique

When I look at this photo I feel peaceful, the way the jellyfish are standing out and how they glow. I think this photo is about highlighting the jellyfish in contrast with the darkness of the water. I like the way the photo is light on the top and as your eyes scan the picture it gets darker. I like this picture because by having it in black and white the jellyfish are still able to standout and blend in more towards the bottom. Even then, the ones at the bottom are able to come through the darkness. As a whole the picture is good, I feel some spots are a little fuzzy and would recommend to check the lens for any dust.
