The "Rule Of Thirds"

The rule of thirds is when an image is equally divided into 9 equal parts by two equally spaced horizontal lines and two equally spaced vertical lines. It is used to make a photo more interesting. Instead of having an object in the center, the focus is on the intersection where the lines meet. It draws attention to the main object and gives the eyes a brake.
